About Us

Founded in 1983, Diagnosys is an inventor-owned private company devoted to the field of ophthalmic electrophysiology. Our pioneering customizable platforms are available for both human and animal testing. All our platforms provide the broadest stimulus range, highest test repeatability, most sensitive amplifiers, and most customizable software the industry has to offer. We collaborate closely with researchers and clinicians to create and validate new test procedures for the benefit of patient care. Our expertise, technology and network are three key reasons to partner with the premier manufacturer of electrophysiology systems.

Expertise

Founded by inventors, Diagnosys remains privately owned, allowing us to continuously respond to the changing needs of our industry. We design all our hardware and software in-house to our and our customers’ exact specifications. Our skilled software development, engineering, and quality teams enable us to incorporate customer feedback into not only our existing platforms but also our future designs on an unprecedented level!

Technology

Our patented and trademarked platforms span the range from preclinical to clinical use, providing researchers and clinicians with products that have the broadest use and capability in the market. Our ColorDome has a trillion to one range and can change its luminance by 1% anywhere within that range! Our amplifier is the only 32-bit amplifier commercially available, which makes it superior in detection of signal through noise. Click here to see our list of patents and trademarks.

Network

For over 40 years, Diagnosys has supported researchers and clinicians from initial ideas all the way to novel treatment platforms. Our longstanding relationships within the electrophysiology community allow us to cross the bridge from academic labs into patient clinics, enabling easier collaboration between institutions. This network enables a rapid pipeline from cutting edge research to commercial availability whenever possible.

Preclinical

Celeris, our flagship preclinical system, revolutionizes rodent testing with dual function stimulator-electrodes. We also offer ERG solutions for other small to large animals.

Clinical

We offer four broad categories of visual function tests—electrophysiology, psychophysical, objective acuity, and pupillometry, providing a complete picture of a person’s visual function.

All our platforms provide the broadest stimulus range, highest test repeatability, most sensitive amplifiers, and most customizable software in the industry of visual electrophysiology!
