The VEP product suite includes an E2, a Colordome, a Pattern Stimulator, and DTL electrodes and is capable of performing all ISCEV standard VEP and Flash VEP tests.
The VEP test can be elicited by various stimuli, usually pattern reversal, onset/offset or diffuse flash. Onset/offset is a test protocol where a contrast pattern appears out of a uniform background of identical mean luminance, sustains for a short period, and then disappears. A clinical practice typically utilizes the reversing checkerboard and it is perhaps the most common and useful stimulus.
